Your Questions, Answered-
Mounted Shooting is a fast growing equestrian sport that tests the rider’s gun handling skills and the speed and steadiness of his or her horse. The rider must ride a pattern and shoot red balloons along the way, all while being timed. The ammo is gunpowder blanks that pop the balloon from 10-15’ away.
-
Most definitely! You do need to bring your own horse. We encourage beginners to join us and much of the practice is centered on desensitizing horses who are new to the sport.
-
Absolutely! Reach out anytime if you have a club that would like to rent the main arena or if you have any ideas for clinics or events.
-
Nope! We are open to the public and hauling in is welcomed. We just ask that you provide proof of recent vaccinations and that your horse is healthy.
